Join the Journey: From Sweet Cravings to Cookie Dreams

What started as a simple pandemic pastime—a way to satisfy my sweet tooth and pass the time—quickly evolved into a passion for creating the perfect cookie. With a love for baking and a desire to bring back the joy of classic treats, I spent countless hours experimenting with recipes and perfecting six timeless flavors.

During a trip to Idyllwild, I realized that finding a truly satisfying, high-quality cookie wasn’t as easy as I thought. Local bakeries offered overly decadent options or cookies filled with ingredients I wasn’t excited about. Back home in Los Angeles, the options were similar—heavily customized or overly indulgent cookies that didn’t match the simple, nostalgic flavors I craved. That’s when I saw the opportunity to fill this gap.

Driven by my desire for authentic, homemade cookies and inspired by my family’s entrepreneurial spirit, I launched Larchmont Bake Shop. As the child of Vietnamese immigrants who built their own business from nothing, I understand the value of hard work, dedication, and following your dreams. My journey hasn’t always been easy—growing up as one of the only Asian kids in Texas and also being gay, I’ve faced my share of challenges. But these experiences have shaped my vision of creating a space where everyone feels welcomed and celebrated.

At Larchmont Bake Shop, we believe in crafting cookies that bring people together. Our six classic flavors are made with simple, real ingredients that bring back the joy of childhood memories—without any unnecessary frills or additives. Whether you’re craving a sweet treat, looking for the perfect gift, or simply want to indulge in something delicious, we’ve got you covered.

As someone dedicated to health and fitness, I'm always looking for a cookie that doesn't taste like cardboard but isn’t so rich that it gives me a stomach ache and makes me feel guilty for enjoying the whole thing.
